My name is Brady Randolph and I currently employed by RBA Consulting, an IT solutions company located in the Twin Cities. Most people are confused as to what I actually do! I’ve given up on trying to define my roles and responsibilities because 75% of most people don’t understand IT and when I do explain my job, the stare at me blindly. So what is an Infrastructure Engineer? Within RBA we have four main areas in the Infrastructure silo and they are: Exchange, System Center Suite, Active Directory and Virtualization. My area of focus would be SCCM, SCOM, AD and Virtualization with a heavy emphasis on SCCM 2007. What is SCCM? Configuration Manager is a tool that allows companies a single point management solution to configure workstations, servers and mobile devices. That being said, I wear many different hats at RBA and am always willing to help the cause in anyway.
On a side note, I am a sports junky! I know, I know, IT geeks generally aren’t sports nuts but I am a little different breed, in more than one way!
